How long does lens replacement take?

Lens replacement surgery is a little bit different to laser vision correction because we operate on each eye on a separate occasion. The surgery is done in a day surgery facility, so it’s not done in the laser facility, and the recovery takes a bit longer than laser vision correction.

You can expect the vision to be bright and vivid and clear the next day, but it can be a little bit fuzzy and take a little bit of time to recover.

You might find that the period between having the first eye done and the second eye done might be a little bit confusing because the two eyes have different focus, but that feeling quickly recovers immediately after you’ve had the second surgery done.
