How does Laser Eye Surgery work?

All forms of our laser surgery, whether it’s SMILE, LASIK or PRK, work by changing the shape of the cornea to focus the light onto the retina.

So it’s a bit like having a permanent contact lens placed onto the front of the eye without an actual contact lens being there. So once you’ve had our laser surgery, it really gives you freedom from the burden of requiring ongoing glasses or contact lenses.

If you want to see if you’re a good candidate for eye laser surgery, we encourage you to take the self-test. It will take a few minutes of your time and give you a good idea if you can take the next step toward getting better vision without glasses and contact lenses.
