What are the PRESBYOND Laser Blended Vision risks?
PRESBYOND uses the same techniques as LASIK laser eye surgery, and we know that LASIK surgery is a very safe, accurate surgery. However, the risks and side effects are also the same. The most common side effect with LASIK surgery is dry eye, and that will happen to everybody. It gets better with time.
The one important thing to understand about PRESBYOND Laser Blended vision is that the brain takes a little bit of time to adjust to the new vision.
It’s different for everybody, but we always tell people, give it at least three months to adjust. If you’re not happy or struggling with the new vision in that period, then we offer you a pair of glasses to get you by. But usually, by three months, most people are very happy, and they’ve adapted to their new eyes very comfortably.
