What is Kathy Nguyen’s Optometrist training and experience?

Hi, my name is Kathy, and I’m the optometrist at Eye Laser Specialists. I’ve been an optometrist for about a decade now, and I’ve been working with Dr Van Heerden for around a year, learning how to look after you on your journey to 2020 vision.

So, you will see me when you come in for your first assessment to check whether you suit laser eye surgery and which treatment would suit you best.  Zeiss, the laser experts, trained me, so I’m in charge of running the machine on the day of surgery. You’ll therefore see me at your surgery. Also, I’ll see you in the weeks following surgery while I check how your eyes are healing and check how your vision is improving.
