When will you see cataract surgery results, and how long will they last?
The visual recovery from cataract surgery is almost immediate. Most people see really well the day after surgery. The vision continues to improve within the first week of surgery. The results that you get from cataract surgery lasts forever. The lens that we put in the eye doesn’t disintegrate or change. Sometimes you get a film growing over the back of the lens, which we need to touch up with a simple laser procedure called a YAG laser. But the actual visual recovery is really quick, accurate and lasts forever.
