David’s helped thousands of people enjoy clear vision. He ran his own successful practice in London, UK, for 15 years and has specialised in laser vision correction since 2009. A sought-after teacher of student optometrists, he gives education lectures around Victoria and beyond.
David partners with his patients through their vision correction journey. He assesses surgical suitability and guides smooth visual recovery with reassuring confidence and warmth. Outside of work, you’ll find him reading, gardening or playing tennis. He shares a passion for Arsenal FC with his two sons, but his greatest love, (besides his Mrs), is his dog.
Kathy joined our team in 2019 and enjoys the variety and learning opportunities at ELS. With a penchant for perfection, she’s known for her meticulous assessments, precise surgical planning and sensitive, ongoing patient care.
Beneath her poised exterior and work-first-fun-later attitude, Kathy’s an avid sports fan who plays a mean game of futsal. She also loves reading, musicals, podcasts, exploring new eateries and cooking her favourite foods at home.
A calm, attentive listener, HeeYoung joined us in 2022 with a decade of optometric experience. Drawn to laser vision correction because of its instant positive impact, she chose to work at ELS for its reputation, friendly team culture and to learn from the best.
HeeYoung likes to make the complex simple, ensuring patients feel valued and understood.
You’ll find her checking out new cafes and bakeries outside of work. She also likes taking naps.
