Does Implantable Contact Lens surgery hurt?

We usually perform ICL surgery under topical anaesthetic with mild sedation. The actual surgery itself is really painless, and most people don’t even feel anything at the time of surgery. After the surgery, the eye can be a little bit scratchy, which is resolved with eye drops.
